Lead expert in Environmental Mathematics

Sergei is a mathematician with 30 years of experience in the modelling of natural phenomena. His research focuses on nonlinear dynamics, dynamical systems’ application to ecology and ecological complexity. He has managed several research projects supported by various national and international foundations, is Editor-in-Chief of Ecological Complexity, Section Editor-in-Chief (Theoretical and Mathematical Ecology) of Mathematics and the founder and the scientific coordinator of the MPDE conference series.
