Expertise in Data Science

Ivan is the Director of Research in the The School of Mathematics and Actuarial Science, head of the Visual Intellegence Lab and Associate, Next Generation Digital Intelligence Systems Facility Lead in METEOR (Leicester Space Park), Deputy Director of Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Modelling Centre (AIDAM) and Editor of Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation. His long-term research interests revolve around challenges of creating theories, methods, and algorithms underpinning creation and understanding of machine intelligence, adaptation, and learning. Ivan’s works in an advisory capacity on the PCT and leads on issues around AI and Data Science.
